From Practice to Prepared in 3 Steps.

Put on the vest, perform the rescue technique, and watch for the result. The trainer gives immediate, unambiguous feedback every single time.

01

Deliver Back Blows

Position your hands on the back slap pad and deliver back blows with correct force and placement, allowing you to practice safe technique with no risk to your training partner.

Only required for protocols that include back blows (e.g. Red Model). If your program uses abdominal thrusts only, skip directly to Step 2.

02

Perform Abdominal Thrust

Apply thrusts between the navel and ribcage, exactly as you would in a real choking emergency. The internal air bladder activates when your hand placement and force are correct.

This is where muscle memory is built. Repetition with proper placement is the key to retaining the skill under pressure.

03

The Plug Ejects. See the Result

A foam plug is pre-loaded in the airway chamber to simulate a blocked airway. When your technique is correct, the plug ejects, confirming you performed the rescue properly.

No instructor needed to verify your form. The device itself tells you. Reset the plug and go again.

Why Training Matters

Knowing What To Do Is Not The Same As
Being Able To Do It.

Choking is one of the most common causes of accidental death. Studies show that bystanders who have practised a physical response react faster and more accurately than those who have only read or watched a demonstration.

The Act+Fast Trainer bridges the gap between theory and action — giving trainees the physical experience of performing abdominal thrusts and back slaps on a real person before they ever face a real emergency. The result is confidence, accuracy, and speed when every second counts.
